Peggy Norris
Peggy Morris presents various subjects rendered in oil, watercolor, acrylic, and prismacolor pencil. Her appreciation of nature’s beauty, the effect of light and shadow, feeling and moods, provides the viewer a lasting impression of the subject represented.
Born in Chillicothe, Ohio, her first exposure to painting is credited to a neighbor, who began teaching art. This exposure led to continued art education classes and workshops.
She takes pleasure in giving a realistic impression of varied subjects, which includes animal portraits, people portraits, landscapes, seascapes, architectural designs, and favorite things. In addition, abstract paintings that draw a viewer in to an aura of feelings, forms, and color variations are presented.
Her art is in private collections, and at Palmetto Studios.
Peggy is a member of the Waterway Art association, the Roundtable Art Group, Waccamaw Arts and Craft Guild, and Seacoast Artist Guild of South Carolina.
